NSW:Second man charged over street shooting.

SYDNEY, Feb 1 AAP - A second person has been charged with attempted murder after a
man was shot in the leg near Wollongong, south of Sydney.

The 32-year-old victim was shot in Barnes Street, Berkeley, on Sunday afternoon.

He was taken to Wollongong Hospital for emergency surgery and was expected to make
a full recovery.

Late on Sunday night a 37-year-old man was arrested at a Berkeley home and charged
with attempted murder.

A second man, aged 35, was arrested in Berkeley on Wednesday afternoon and charged
with attempted murder, unlawfully discharging a firearm and wounding a person with intent
to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Thursday.
