Vic; Teens charged with robbing store four times in one week

Three boys aged between 14 and 16 have been charged with holding up a convenience store
in Melbourne's northeast four times in the past week.

Police say the Seven-Eleven store at Montmorency was robbed four times between last
Saturday and today.

Two boys were caught as they left after menacing the Seven-Eleven staff with a steel
fencing stake at 3.15 (AEDT) this morning.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with three counts of armed robbery and two boys
aged 15 and 14 have each been charged with two counts of armed robbery.

All three have been bailed to appear in Preston Children's Court on February 2.
